Therapeutic Riding Facilities

There are quite a few Therapeutic Riding Facilities across the United States. When looking for a Therapeutic Riding Center we suggest you look for ones in which:
  1. Their instructors are PATH International Certified and their volunteers have gone through training. Ask to see their certificate.
  2. They are a 501c3 (Non Profit). Ask to see a copy of their EIN Certificate from IRS.
  3. They are registered with their State. Ask to see a copy of their Articles of Incorporation.
  4. Their facility is insured.
  5. They practice and implement Natural Horsemanship. Why? We feel that implementing Natural Horsemanship such as Parelli Natural Horsemanship helps insure that the horse AND rider is prepared which is safety for all. They put the horse first. If the horse isn't ready it can lead to issues.
  6. Sit in on a lesson.

**They use Parelli Techniques and have Parelli Instructors volunteering. We have seen their EIN and Articles of Incorporation- 2012.

Kansas

They are in the process of certification. We have not seen their EIN or Articles of Incorporation as of May 2012.
